Ah, yet another podcast devoted to discussing bad movies!
The F-List Bad Movie Podcast is hosted by Seth, Adam Macey, Da Lysh, and Jeff. Episodes are released on a sporadic schedule, sometimes once a week, sometimes once every month or so. The premise of each hour to two hour episode is that the hosts pick a movie off of Netflix Instant and break down why it is so terribly bad. The F-List Bad Movie Podcast has been around for a couple of years now.

There’s not much that I want to say about The F-List Bad Movie Podcast. The simplest, easiest, and most honest discourse I can provide would be to say that it’s not a podcast I ever developed any interest in listening to. I’m always up for a worthwhile podcast about bad movies, I do happen to be a huge lover of movies so terrible that they are good. There are two ways to go about producing a podcast about bad movies. The first way is to make your podcast about the functionality of the films in question. Why are they so bad, why are they funny, and so on. The second approach is to try to be funny yourselves and to crack as many jokes in a given episode as you can. The F-List Bad Movie Podcast takes the second approach, but the problem I had with said approach was that I did not find any of the hosts funny in the slightest.
Comedy is extremely subjective, I understand that fact. What I don’t find funny someone else may find extremely funny, and vice-versa. I did not find The F-List Bad Movie Podcast funny, the brand of juvenile and crude humor that the hosts opted for didn’t do anything for me. Others will love their particular brand of humor, that’s just the way that humor works. But, I don’t write these reviews about what others will like, I write them about what I did and didn’t like in a given podcast. I didn’t come away with anything to like about The F-List Bad Movie Podcast. The only substance I found in the podcast were the attempts by the hosts to be funny. Since I didn’t find them funny that meant I came away with a lot to dislike about The F-List Bad Movie Podcast.
My vote is to unsubscribe from The F-List Bad Movie Podcast. It’s not a podcast for me, it’s not funny, nor is it interesting. Maybe others will like it, and it’s cool if other people do find The F-List Bad Movie Podcast funny and engaging. I’m glad to be moving on, because podcasts are just as subjective as comedy. Some work for you, some don’t, and the sooner I can move on from the podcasts that don’t work for me the better it is for all parties involved.
